Under the MNRE’s solar park and ultra-mega power plant schemes, 2018 saw significant acceleration in the commissioning of MW-scale solar projects across the country. The goal was clear: meet India’s ambitious renewable energy target of 175 GW by 2022, of which 100 GW was to come from solar.
