The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, and its products — including solar water heaters and photovoltaic systems — are approved by key regulatory bodies like the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA).

Dr. M. Lakshman
Founder
- Dr. M. Lakshman, a visionary academician and administrator, served as Professor & Head of Sociology at Bharathiar University.
- Post-retirement, he co-founded Vesat Solar Products in 2004 and passionately nurtured its growth, managing administration and operations for nearly a decade.
- With a strong belief in sustainable living, he laid the foundation for Vesat’s trusted legacy.
- His disciplined leadership continues to inspire the team and vision of Vesat.
Mr. L. R. Venkatesh
Managing Director
- Mr. L. R. Venkatesh, Managing Director of Vesat, brings over 35 years of expertise in the solar energy industry.
- With strong academic credentials in engineering and energy management, he leads factory operations, R&D, and strategic planning.
- A passionate solar advocate, he has contributed to national and international conferences, guided research, and played a key role in promoting renewable energy awareness across Tamil Nadu.
Mr. V. Tarun
Director
- Mr. V. Tarun, Director of Vesat, is a Mechanical Engineer from Düsseldorf University, Germany, with international experience in solar thermal design and engineering.
- Fluent in German and skilled in system design and project execution, he oversees factory operations, production, HR, and marketing.
Since 2019, he has led R&D initiatives and driven Vesat’s global expansion in solar exports.
Mr. P. Kadhiresan
General Manager
- Mr. P. Kadhiresan serves as the General Manager at Vesat Renewables Private Limited, bringing over 20 years of experience in operations, project management, and customer service in the renewable energy sector.
- He plays a crucial role in coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring timely project execution, and maintaining high standards in after-sales support.
Known for his hands-on leadership and people-centric approach, Mr. Kadhiresan ensures that every Vesat project reflects quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Mr. V. Dhanraj
Factory Manager
- Mr. V. Dhanraj, Director at Vesat, is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of expertise in solar water heating systems.
- With deep experience in customized solar designs and special industrial applications, he leads factory operations, production, and project implementation.
- Since 2009, he has been instrumental in driving Vesat’s solar project execution and upholding quality standards.

Achieved a significant milestone with solar water heater turnover crossing ₹1 crore.

Expanded manufacturing capabilities and began direct marketing under the VESAT brand.
Launched advanced Evacuated Tube Solar Water Heaters by importing tubes from China.
Formed a collaboration with Sun Rain (China) to introduce India’s first non-welded stainless steel solar tanks.
